Kapahaka by Liam

The crowd went silent and Aleesha and Paia did the karanga. I felt so scared because everyone was looking straight at my eyes. We started singing haere mai. The whole group sang loudly until haere mai was finished. Then we did Nga iwi e and that was boring and we ended with rua ana whati whati Hi!. The girls did the poi and nearly hit my head so I had to duck down and try not to get hit. Finally it was my time to shine. Bryn said 'Kia mau, Ka mate, ka mate ka ora ka ora. I felt tingly in my tummy. I was so relieved when it was over.

I was happy as I walked on stage. I said to my self I hope I don't forget my dance. I felt like its a dream but its not. Then everything went silent. Miss hill turned chori chori on, then we danced. At the start we waved our arms and then we had our arms like a chicken's wings. And when it was a third of the way through we moved our arms really fast up and down. luckily chori chori turned off. We got ready to dance to Coconut. We started off by making are hands look like we are hitting  drums. then coconut turned off, then kotanitanga turned on. When it was half way through the boys did the boys haka we slapped our thighs and brought our hands back. it was finished, I was relieved it was all over.

When  I  walked  on  to  the  stage I saw my coach in the crowd. I saw him smiling at us. I was happy when we were doing  the roly poly and   cart-wheels. I thought I  was going to crash  into Bradley when we were doing the roly poly and cart-wheels. My tummy felt sore and my heart was beating like a hammer. I was hoping that we were not going to make a mistake in the gymnastics show. At the end  we  all stood up and  did  five roly polys each  on  the  stage. Then  we  waited for  Rosie and Sasha to finish us off. I was happy because we were finished.  

The Readers Theatre by Ryleigh

Bom Bom Bom, my hart was pounding as fast as a bullet as I was waiting for choir to Finnish their song , over the rainbow. Oh no they have finnished I thought to my self, I was  also excited in a way. Readers Theatre walked onto the stage and then we got in our places, the M.C'S Sasha and Rosie said their lines ''the readers theater group will now present the very old story of Pinocchio, written over 130 years ago. At the end they will sing the song Pinoccho from the 1960's made famouse by Maria Dallas. Please join in the song,  if you are old enough to remember it". It felt like their was one  million people staring at me with exited faces. I was looking for my friend Nakita, suddenly I found her right there in the middle. Oh no I forgot my words, I heard Alex say "Pinocchio it is true you are, I just remembered at that point and joined in, beautiful and with my magic wand i will give you life for 24 hours. I felt so imbarest after that because Mrs Kelly looked at me in an evil way.I hid behind Astella's wheel chair and hoped knowone would see me 
(but they did)"pinocchio I want you to be a brave honest and generus boy, to always be a real boy you must prove you can be a good son so every time you tell a lie you're nose will grow and when you tell the truth it will become normal again. After the play, Pinocchio, we sang the song pinocchio" do you love me pinoccio tell me..." the song ended and we all froze like statues then the audiance started claping. Rosie started speaking, the audiance clapped once more as a song came on to tell Readers Theatre to get off the stage. We went to sit down on the mats, I waited pationtly as we waited for the dance group to get ready on the stage. When the dance group was ready Sasha introdused them. The dance group  started dancing to their first song chiri chiri, then they danced to coconut from the palm trees in samoa. after that they danced to Kotahitanga well... we all did, sitting down of course. At the end Nga Kaho all standed up at the end and did the rest of the dance, Leilani put her hand in the air and Nga Kaho all did the same because we did a bowl. The  M.Cs ended the show, and that was the end of that, PHEW

I walked on stage Mrs Miller told us to stand in our positions. when the the song (chori chori ) started my body tingled with excitement.I brought my hands up and put them back down,my hands were moving,my legs were moving my whole body was moving. The next song was (coconut) we all pretended to bang on the drums.I looked out in the audience and I felt really nervous.I thought that aliens were staring at me. the next song was kotahitaga I brought my hands up and did a pose and started doing a pose then we kept on dancing.I had a really fun day with my dancing group.

MY hands were trembling. I felt like I didn't want to be there. Then Mrs Lowe nodded at me. My brain went all fuzzy as if I was going to forget my line. My brain went black just as the words flew out of mouth "Taringa whakarongo!!". The crowed started to clap and cheer! Paia and Aleesha started calling out the Kgaaran.Then I had to start off Haere mai. "Haere mai, haere mai - toru, wha". The audience started to clap and cheer as we  finished singing Haere Mai.    


The next song was nga iwi e and I had to start it off. "Nag iwi e- toru,wha I called out. We heard a loud applause coming from the crowed.  It was time for the poi and I had to start this one off too!



Hoki,Hoki tono mai toru wha. We started doing the poi. The poi came to an end and I had to finish it of with  the conting down in Morai "Ka tahi ka rua ka toru ka wha". Everybody clapped.


I gave the signal for the boys to stand up, "etu". Bryn started the haka. The haka came to an end.Then Connor said "etu" and we had to stand up. Rosie and Sasha finished it off , "give it up one more time for nga kaho kapa haka", everyone started to clap again. I walked off stage feeling very proud.

When I walked onto the stage I saw the faces of the audience staring at me.  I was a bit shy because I saw Mr G smiling at me. It made me feel proud of myself.  Then we did the Kapahaka. Paia and Alesha did the Karanga  and then we started to sing Harere mai and Nga  iwi e that we had been practising for six weeks. Next we sang our song called hoki hoki for our poi. The boys went onto the haka. Then we walked off the stage, Sasha said "girls your poi was graceful, boys you nearly brought the roof down. I was happy when I walked off.

I looked at my conductor Mr wright and we started singing our songs. As I started sing my song I was afraid I was going to forget my words.


Are first song was a french song called frere jacques. we had a french side and a English side. I was in the french side.   

Are seconed was a astraliyan song called waltzing matilda and it was about a swag man who campted by a coolaba tree.


As rebeca walked of stage towards the pino I got ready to sing canda in my poket. I was afrade I was going to forget when to come in.

Are last song was from the islands. there was a group of six people called the super six. 

Readers theatre by Sasha

My hands were trembling as I took a step Into the hall.I had my MC script and the Pinocchio story book in my hands.As the group sat down I walked over to the podium.I looked for my parents but they weren't there. Their was a voice in my head saying, come on mum come on dad hurry up!! I felt a shiver run down my spine. Then I saw Rosie coming up to me with her MC script.she waved and stood beside me. I saw my parents and friends sitting down. I felt a little better just seeing them.

After Kapahaka,Gym and choir did their performances it was Readers Theater's time to shine. As the music was on the group piled on the stage as well as me. We stood in our places and waited for Rosie to introduce Readers theater group. When Rosie had finished there was no sound at all. Then the Narrators nudged each other as a signal to start. I opened the book and suddenly big eels started swimming in my stomach. I remembered there was a gap between the stage and the wall. " I'm going to fall off !!! A screaming voice was in my head.
The play went on and on. It seemed it would go on and on forever. Finally the play ended I closed the book and gave it to Mrs Kelly and stood in another place like the other children ( in the play group) 

The music started and the group started to dance and sing  like a puppet.The song was called  Pinocchio made by maria Dallas in the 1960's. Some adults sang with us. The song ended and the play group stood in a pose of a puppet and everyone clapped.

The group got of and I walked to the podium phew !! Its over I said. I saw my parents smiling at me. I felt really proud !

The audience went quiet as Rosemary and Sasha introduced the kapahaka group. "Taringa Whakarongo" Maia cried out into the hall and all the girls began to wiri. Alesha and Paia did the Karanga "Haere mai, Haere mai, e nga iwi e, Haere mai" We started our first song, Haere mai. I was scared I would forget the words because there were so much people looking at me.

The next song was Nga Ewi E. In the middle of the song I nearly forgot the actions.  At the end of the song we were in our position to do the poi while singing Hoki, Hoki.

As I got the poi out I thought to myself "I hope the poi doesn't fling onto one of the adults I had butterflies in my tummy getting bigger and bigger because everyone was looking at me.

The boys stood up and did the haka Kamate and Tika Tonu. They were all very loud and at the end there
was a clap for them.Walking of the stage I was very proud of myself.

Sasha and Rosemary finished it of by saying "wow, Girls your poi was graceful and boys you nearly brought the roof done with that haka. The audience started to clap and I walked off the stage felling very proud of myself.

As Readers theater walked on stage my heart started thumping against my chest.I slowly walked to the part on the stage were the Stromboli sat.I felt butterflies in my stomach .Then the narrators started
Us off once upon a time there was a kind carpenter named Gepetto;.Taylor who was the voice of Gepetto started Cameron off who was the actor.Then it was nearly our turn it felt gurgly in my stomach. This is it i thought then i got on stage and started to act while saying my lines my name is stromboli comein come in ladies and gentle man come in and see our puppet show.Then it was our last line then take these coins tou danced very well.After the show readers theater danced to Maria Dallas song.Then it was finished finally i thought then we walked off stage.

Choir By Rebekah

The audience became silent and Sasha and Rosemary introduced my group, the choir.  My heart thumped and my hands trembled.  The butterflies in my stomach became bigger and bigger.  I didn't want to be there but it was too late to even try to get off the stage.

As Mr Wright started picking his guitar, we started singing Frere Jacques.  The audience turned and some started singing with us. The nervousness began to go away and the song finished.  The crowd clapped loudly and Mr Wright started off the next song, Waltzing  Matilda.

Hopefully I won't forget my words, I thought to myself.  Luckily I didn't.  Again the crowd clapped and Mr Wright looked at me.

That was the signal.  My body tingled as I slipped off the stage and down the steps to the piano.  This is it I thought to myself as I pulled the piano stool out and set my music up.  I just had to find the right pedal and wait for Mr Wright's other signal to start.  My hands sweated and Mr Wright  gave me the signal.  I started playing the introduction to Canada in my Pocket.  The singing started and after I played the last bit of the song it finished.  I felt proud of myself for finishing the song without making any big mistakes.  

Quickly I rushed back to my place and started singing the next song Somewhere over the Rainbow.  The crowd clapped loudly and Sasha finished our performance saying, "Wow I could listen to that singing all night.  Rebekah your piano playing was superb and Mr Wright that was pretty good guitar picking."

My Mum, Dad, brother, my friend Georgia and I went camping and this is a picture of us all eating strawberries with icing sugar in the morning. We are at Kiropaponga camping site and other friends came with us.

The Catch By Sasha

The fox ran and ran until it came to a big thorny tunnel. It looked back only to see the boy coming closer. The fox crawled under the thorns. The boy came to the tunnel and looked back at the 

village he lived in. Should I go or not he asked himself . Then he gave a determined look and thought to himself I need that fish no matter what! He ducked down and started army crawling. He saw some light and crawled even faster. He tried to get out but he got 

stuck in the vines. 

The boy pulled and pulled to get out. Once he got out he saw the fox run into a log. The boy jumped onto the log and crawled along it until he got to the end of the log. He looked into the log but he could only see pitch black. Omph !!! The boy was tackled to the ground. This was the foxes chance. The fox ran out of reach but the boy got up and started running after the fox. He jumped swung leaped rolled and sprinted. He tried to grab the fox but he couldn't. the fox kept running and the boy followed him until he came to a mountain. They started climbing it. The boy nearly fell off, gripping the mountain. His hat fell off but the boy didn't mind he swung and climbed back up. When he reached the top there was a thick layer of mist.

THE CATCH by Bradley

One summers morning a boy who lived in a village was fishing in a little pond. He was waiting and waiting for a fish to tug on his bait on the hook. Suddenly he felt a tug on his line. He had a smile on his face.  He looked at the fish and looked disappointed because it was too small and it wouldn't feed his whole family. He looked back at the village.He stood up and then heard a  strange noise coming from the bush. He walked over to the bush and cautiously parted the banana leaves. He slipped out his knife and walked to the fox and cut the stalk and let the fox free. 

The fox pounced around him and the boy slowly walked back. Then the fox jumped onto him and sniffed the boy. The fox smelt some fish and ran to the basket and saw a fish.  He scooped it up with his sharp teeth and ran away. The fox lead him through a long thorny bush.

Deserts. By Sienna

I am the frog in a dog, and today is the day that we are off to see deserts. Let's leave right away. You may think that deserts are empty and bare, the things we will find there insects and lizards, flowers and snow. Want to see for yourself? Buckle up and let's go! Why are deserts dry? I will glad to explain. There are vary few clouds above them to bring rain. Without clouds, there is nothing to block the sun's light or to hold the heat in, so it gets cold at night. The air is so dry any rain deserts get dries up right away, so they do not stay wet. Without water, surviving in deserts is rough. Plants, insects and animals need to be tough. In day time, small animals stay underground. Later on, when it is cooler, they move above ground. Kangaroos lick their arms to help cool off their skin, then each digs a hole in the ground and climbs in.

My birthday By sasha

I woke up feeling very excited that it was my birthday. I checked the clock to see what time it was. It was 5:00am but I didn't care at all. It was my birthday how was I supposed to sleep when I was so excited!! I rushed over to my mum and dads bedroom. "HAPPY  BIRTHDAY Sasha" said mum and dad. I decided that I should get some sleep because I was about to have the greatest day of my life. Zzzz zzzz. Beep beep beep was all I could hear. Dad said to stop the alarm. I thought that I had only slept a minute but I hadn't. It was 7:32am! Mum had already gone to work. Just then I heard my brother wake up. He came over and also said HAPPY BIRTHDAY. I had to get ready for school. I got all ready and went to school. As soon as I came in the classroom Rebekah rushed over to me and got something out S It looked like a present. Rebekah was  wanting me to open it. So I quickly got out my stuff and did the things we are supposed to do with them. Then I read the card out loud to the people who were more excited than me. I opened the present and all the people crowded around me  eager to find out what it was. Everybody shouted "Rip it! Rip it!" So I did. "Wow thanks Rebekah for the present," I said. It was a pencil case with markers so I could decorate my own case how I liked. I then gave the teacher 2 packets of chocolates to share with the class at the end of the day. My day went fast and I was thinking if dad had bought me a present. Finally it was the end of the day and I gave out the chocolates and went home. There was a package out on the doorstep I picked it up and went inside the house. We went to pick up mum at 3:15, then we came home. My brother was already at home. Then I had to take a shower. After my shower I had a few phone calls. Somebody came to give me a present. When we all were together we sat down at the dinner table but we didn't have dinner. Instead I opened the presents and  this is what I got and who I got it from.  I got 2 cards and a gift card from our family friends , a watch from Avik and then my dad said

cut the cake. So we did. The cake was so delicious that I couldn't stop eating it. I was about to go when dad said to my brother go and get it and  that could only mean one thing another present !! I was so glad the day wasn't  over yet. I opened the gift wrap and there before my very eyes was something  I'd been wishing to get. It was an I PAD!!!! I hugged mum and dad and my brother for the best thing I'd ever wish for. Next I got play on it. Our family always does  something special for our birthdays and this time I got to choose what we had for dinner. So I chose pizza. My friends came over and ate the pizza with us. Yum yum .then it was time for them  to go and time for us to sleep so that's the end of the day.

The Egyptian Mummy with the Ugly Wedding Dress By Rebekah

This is me at my aunty's kitchen tea party in Levin dressed up as a bride in toilet paper.  There was another girl dressed up as well.  I thought she would win but we both did.  Our prizes were two moro bars.  I felt like an Egyptian mummy with an ugly wedding dress.  After all the photos with me looking like an Egyptian mummy I did a roly-poly to get myself out of the toilet paper.  That didn't really work so I ripped it off, then I had to pick all the the mess up.

On Saturday I  was so excited to go to my uncle's farm to go hunting for my birthday. Dad and I  got ready and  went to cashes-bush, and it was a long way to get to cashes bush. When we got there I felt really sick.  I had to go and open the gate so I could let my dad  through. Dad parked the car by a tall  tree and got the hunting bags for me so I could put my stuff in them. I said to my dad can we go now he said OK  we can go so we walked right to the top of the hill and look for some pigs or deer's, I saw a big  pig so my  dad walked down and he waited for it to come closer so he could shoot it and it finally came closer and dad shot it. I ran up to  it and was still  alive so dad shot him in the head so he could put him out of his misery. Dad gutter the pig  so it wasn't to heavy .  Dad said meet me  at the top off  the hill in a puff voice with the pig on his  back." I said ok Dad" but when I  got to the top of the hill, dad fell  down and  rolled his ankle and I had to  help Dad get up and try lift him up on to his feet. Dad got up said stay by me incase I fall  down  again ,"I said yep" in a panicing voice then I saw the top of the hill and I said to Dad I can see the top of the hill yes we are at the top. I can see the car so we walked to the car and  put the pig in the back of the car and we started the car and we drove to my uncle house.   My uncle said to come over to the killing shed so we can weigh it and it was 175lbs boar cool. I was so proud.

Yesterday I  felt  so excited about going duck shooting at my favourite place with my cousin, dad and uncle. When we arrived at the lake there were a large group of ducks covering the lake so my dad stood up, aimed and fired at three nice mallards. Boom! Boom! Boom! Then I said to my dad "That was some nice shooting." My dog Coco quickly retrieved  the duck but Coco didn't get all of the ducks back. A big flock of ducks was swarming over the lake. My dad scared them away with the loud noise of his gun.  Then a big group of ducks came down into shooting range. My uncle shot 2 duck mallard in one shot. then my dog coco retrieved the to ducks and I was so excited because we shot 5 ducks yum.

We walked under a colorful rainbow and found ourselves in a wonderful place. It was candy land.There were ice cream and ice block trees also there were gumdrop rocks.There were chocolate people who lived in lamington houses with white chocolate windows.We saw a peppermint sun. All of us walked over to the chocolate people and said "How are you today""we are great today they replied."very nice weather we are having today" "yes all of us replied.Well we will be on our way now I said.bye everyone nice meeting you and we skipped along the rainbow gumdrop path.Bella saw some beautiful birds in the sky she said "look everyone there are some beautiful birds in the sky.Next Victoria saw some ears behind a bush.It was a gummy-bear. We stood at the top of a tunnel.We all took a deep breath and jumped into the tunnel screaming.We flipped over and over and keep face planting into gum-balls.We fall over and a rainbow lollipop stuck to our faces.Then we all looked up and saw 100's of gum-balls.We thought for a minute.All of us came up with the same idea.We will climb the gum-balls.We all climbed the gum-balls. All of us slipped but luckily there were lollipops that we haled onto.The lollipops helped us climb up the gumball pits and we popped out the top of the pits we all shouted "we made it out of the pits.

CANDY LAND by Maia

I gasped as my eye brows raised. Such a magnificent place glazed upon my eyes. I walked along with Kyra, Emma, Victoria and poppy the horse as our feet sunk in all the candy floss. Suddenly, I realized we were not on our own. I saw lolly shape shadows scuttle along the walls. The bushes and trees started to rumble as my friends and I were wondering what was going on. Then it popped in to my head. We were in candy land!!! The rumbling finally stopped as a old happy man tumbled out of a jelly bush and presented in a very trendy voice "Welcome to candy land."

 There were big jet planes flying high up over the top of our tiny heads. There standing right in front of us was the magnificent candy tower (don don don!) We had amazed looks on our faces as our hands chipped little pieces of white chocolate off the bridge.We noticed something that looked amazing. It  was a chocolate fountain! We scurried over there as quickly as our little feet could carry us.  As we were all pigging away at the chocolate fountain I notice a faint voice coming from a  deep dark hole . I walked to where the sound was coming from. The voice got louder as I came to a deep and very dark hole. Thee others gathered around me.We all stared at the deep dark hole that lay upon our eyes. I heard that same voice. Just then, I  realised that the sound was coming from the hole. I said to all thee others "Well what are you waiting for " I said in a rush. Kyra said tyring to be funny " I am waiting for something awesome to happen! Wonder where she gets it from" I said turning to Emma. "Well stop mucking around... Lets jump!" So we all helled hands and JUMPED!!! "ah" Victoria screamed and we all said at the same time.. 'Stop being a wuss Victoria!" " om pf" she sighed. "Okay." Bang! We fell to the bottom of the hole. We stood up as the dirt raised. Jaffa walls surrounded us.We tried to fined an exit door then we heard a faint voice coming from a dark corner. "Is any one there?" I whispered ." It's just me, a little gummy bear." They replied in a shy voice as she came out of a dark corner. "I was getting apprehended by two mongoose and fell down this deep dark hole".... She began and Emma blurted out almost forgetting her manners "come on lets get I mean, well why don't we help this little cutey" she said try to forget that she was rude. "Now that's the spirit Emma. Three two one Let's go!" Suddenly an ever so thin rope slid carefully down the hole. A voice from the surface said "grab holed." It was the gentleman who welcome us to candy land and he even brang his gummy bear army. "Golly gosh" I whispered to myself as we got pulled up to the surface. We finally got pulled up and we stuffed our face with candy.     The End.

Adventure on Feather Forest Island By Rebekah

We walked through under the rich red rose arch with pink roses curved over on the top on the rough concrete path.  Our eyes grew wide as we entered a place we had never seen before.  There before us stood a GIGANTIC ostrich.  It suddenly said something that made me jump. "Get out of here!"it blurted out.  Janine whispered  something that gave me an idea. I thought. I knew it would be rude to talk back but I knew I'd have to.  "How do we get back?"I said as quickly as I could.  "Go talk to the pheasant, but she won't listen," the ostrich said grumpily trying to make us not be bothered,  But of course we went. Sasha reminded me. "Be careful about what you say."  I knew exactly what I was going to do.  We finally finished the five minute walk to the pheasant.  She kindly said " ignore that old ostrich, he's the meanest on feather forest island.""You mean were on feather forest island, where are we?" Sasha said nearly forgetting her manners.   "How do we get back?" Janine asked.  "There is no way back,"she replied.  "Come with me, I'll show you all around."  The horse had been waiting very patiently to have her turn to speak.  " If there is no way back , where will we stay?" The horse said in a loud croaky voice.  "That's one bit I am about to show you," she replied.  As we walked, all that could be heard was the sound of the trotting of the horse and the chirping of the birds, then Sasha broke the silence. "All I can hear is really annoying sound of chirping birds." " Well you going to have to get used to it cause your going to live here" the pheasant said back.  We soon reached a big log house looking thing on a big green bushy tree.  It had a rail on each side of the set steps leading up to the exciting looking tree house.  As we walked up the set of steps we were lead by the pheasant and the horse.  I was following at the back in case it was a terrible sight.  Just then I slipped head over heals over the rail, with bump I landed flat on my bottom.  "Are you alright?" Janine laughed.  " Sure am," I laughed back. "Maybe just a bruise on my backside." I got up and rushed to catch up with the others.  The others had already reached the top and were waiting for me."Slow coach,"Sasha jeered.  I reached the top of the steps finally.  Janine reckoned there were about one hundred steps but I thought maybe about fifty.   We nearly fainted at the sight.  "It's a mess! It's just like my brother's bedroom,"I exclaimed."  Lets get to work!""Oh what!" Janine groaned."You'll have to." "I guess so,"Janine grumbled.  We got to work and within a couple of hours it was completed.  Sasha, the pheasant and the horse sat down on the couch and chattered, while Janine set the table and I made a lunch of pineapple pizza.  Luckily there was food already there because we were not prepared.  I finally finished cooking pizza and served them onto five plates and put them on the table.  We sat down and ate them with out making a sound.  I got up from the table and gathered the plates, knives and forks and Sasha helped wash, dry and put them away.  Once we had finished we all decided about what to do next.  We decided to explore the tree hut.  Janine found a hole and lent a bit to far in and... "HELP!"  " Oh," Sasha said with a smile on her face.  The pheasant gathered us around and she told us," You two come with me and Horse stay here and guard the house."  She lead us to the hole where Janine fell into.  " OWLOLLYLOPPYLOLLYPOP," said a cheerful voice of Janine.  "Can I stay back with the horse," Sasha asked looking scared.  "NO!" said the pheasant strictly.  We slid down the hole.  It was like the hydro slide  at Onekawa pools.  It wasn't just black had heaps of other colours it seemed like it would never end.  Finally there was a streak of light and there stood Janine.  "Close your eye's and DO NOT peek," Janine commanded.  "PLEASE can open them it sounds SO exciting,"Sasha pleaded.  "Were here!" Janine said excitedly after she had dragged us along the dusty path.  We looked around with wide open eyes.  Some fluffy little chicks plodded to us along with some tiny yellow ducklings.  "They're so cute!!" Sasha joyfully said.  "Look! Right over there,"Janine yelled.  There in front of us was a huge pond filled with ducks, kingfishers, swans and geese.  They were so noisy we couldn't hear each other.  "How do we get back up,"Sasha screamed.  "Come, I'll show you where," the pheasant shouted back.  We were lead back to the gigantic slide we had just been down.  She told us to sit back on it and soon enough we were back in the tree hut.  Suddenly something struck Janine" what is you twos name? she asked the pheasant and the horse.  "Mine is Cindy,"the pheasant answered .  "And mine is Sandy," the horse replied.  "OK Cindy and Sandy do you want to live with us?," Janine asked.  "Sure"they said at the same time.  We had a picnic afternoon tea under one of the trees near the arch where the we had first entered into.  Suddenly we heard a drowning grumbling voice coming from the top of a hill.  "HELP, HELP, HELP".  We rushed over to the hill where the drowning voice came from.  There in front of us the mean old ostrich fell down on the top of the hill with a thump.  We could hear the rushing water on the other side of the hill.  The ostrich finally said his last words.  "Geeettt ouutt of heerree,"The ostrich spluttered.  "She doomed,"Sasha laughed.  "Hey, why don't we push her down to the arch and bury her there where we first met " I suggested.  " Yeah lets do it,"Janine shouted.  "Seriously she is so heavy, I wonder what she's been eating?"Sasha said.  "Hey why don't we push here down the hill and into the river,  she'll sink and so we won't see her. Come on."  We  pushed here down and she rolled into the river.  "Now we will live happily ever after,"Janine said relieved.  "You mean happily never after,  look she has had babies.  I corrected her.  "Oh no"  Sasha shouted.
